If you’re in the industry, you most definitely have a wishlist of people you’d like to collab with in some way or another. Whether you’re an artist, producer, publicist, manager or a writer – we all have them. This interview is particularly close to my heart as Jersey singer/songwriter Eric Roberson was one of the artists on my ‘wish list’ of people that I’d want to interview before I’m done with all of this (that’s if I ever get done).
Why ERRO? He’s classy, sexy and supremely soulful. His written for many of the r&b/neo soul greats. You know, the Jill Scott’s, The Musiq Soulchild and the Carl Thomas’ of the industry. I can’t front and say that I have always known about Eric Roberson’s music. Not right from the beginning, but from the first moment I hear “Left”, I was hooked and went right back to the beginning to catch all the way up.
Music Fan First dropped in 2009 and ERRO fever spread even further. The controversial video to “Dealing” ft. Lalah Hatahway had people like “Oh sh*t! It’s about to go down!” – and it did. “Dealing” is a track which has earned #repeatstatus in my mp3. We’ve all been there. You are talking to somebody new. They make you smile, make you laugh… until you realise that not everything is as it seems. That sinking feeling right at the end of it all. I think people love ERRO because everything he writes about is real. It’s all relatable.  Situations in love and relationships that we all try to muddle our way through. Heartache. Joy. Confusion. Loss… Then back to love again.
Check out my first SKYPE interview EVER with one of my favourite artists on the planet. We chopped it up about his dope new album “Mr Nice Guy”.

Here’s the very short part two!
